Dope Wars Classic — Privacy Policy

Dope Wars Classic is a single-player retro trading simulation. We collect the minimum data needed to run a global leaderboard and prevent cheating. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

What we collect

• Session token. When a Standard game begins, our server generates a random 64-character token that ties one play session to one eventual score submission. The token is not tied to your identity.
• Player name. If you submit your score to the leaderboard, the 3–20-character display name you enter is stored alongside the score. You choose the name; you can use a pseudonym.
• Game action log. Your full sequence of in-game moves is submitted with your score so our server can replay the game and verify the score is legitimate. The log contains no personal information.
• IP address. Briefly logged when scores are submitted, used to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse. Discarded after 30 days.

What we do NOT collect

• No accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords
• No advertising identifiers (IDFA / AAID)
• No precise location
• No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, or health data
• No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Adjust, etc.)
• No ads
• No in-app purchases or payment data

Custom mode

Custom-mode games are played entirely offline on your device and are never submitted to the leaderboard. No data leaves your device.

Data storage

Leaderboard scores are stored in a Vercel Postgres database located in the United States. IP addresses are stored alongside score submissions for up to 30 days, then deleted.

Children

This app is rated 17+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

If you'd like a score (and its associated name) removed from the leaderboard, email contact@keymash.com with the name and approximate submission date. We'll remove it within 7 days.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
